Thanks to the year that was, no matter what
This blog takes bow to the year that was.
2005 was both a good year and a bad one.
First the bad:
- There was Hurricane Katrina
- The series of suicide bombings in Iraq
- The earthquake in Pakistan
- and a lot more.
But there were the good events, too, such as:
- That black holes are good after all, as astronomers have discovered they can create life in the form of new stars
- The Discovery Shuttle was launched, erasing from our memory the disaster laden 2003 shuttle
- Polio eradication hopefully is being achieved at the end of 2005
- On the personal note, this website was born along with two other sites
- and many more good news.
